Chronic Disease Clinics (Practice Nurse led)
By Appointment : Asthma, Coronary Heart Disease, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Chronic Kidney Disease, Stroke, Atrial Fibrillation, Hypertension, Epilepsy, Hypothyroidism, Diabetes. All are managed by the Doctor and Nurse, giving regular check-ups and advice on lifestyle and care.
Family Planning
By Appointment : Strictly confidential advice on contraception can be available during ordinary consultation times, or if preferred, by appointment with a female doctor or our Practice Nurse. We also have provision for free condoms.
Coil Clinic
Arranged on Demand, usually at our Felinheli site.
Antenatal Care
By Appointment : Routine antenatal check-ups by our qualified midwife.
Baby Clinic
By Appointment :Weight checking, Advice and Vaccinations for all children up to age 5.
Influenza and Pneumococcal Vaccination
By Appointment : To gain immunity from the Flu, an annual injection is necessary. This is undertaken when the vaccine is available about October time each year.
The Government advises all patients with heart disease, respiratory ailments, diabetes, or any other illness that reduces resistance to partake of the vaccine and all patients aged 65 or over. It is safe, and much less distressing than the flu! Check with Reception staff during the Flu season for mor information.
The Pneumococcal vaccination is normally a one-off vaccination that can be given at any time during the year to those aged over 65's, to gain immunity against Pneumonia. Check with Reception staff for further information.
Vaccinations
By Appointment : Routine and travel vaccinations for all ages are available. Ask at Reception for further information.
Cervical Cytology
By Appointment : We have twice weekly clinics with a Practice Nurse.
Wart Clinic/Minor Surgery Clinic
Arranged on Demand : This appointment can be made at Felinheli Surgery after an appropriate assessment by a Clinician; certain types of minor surgery may be undertaken.
Physiotherapy
Once a week at out Felinheli Surgery only. By appointment only, please ask Reception staff.
Audiologist
Once a week at or Felinheli Surgery only. By appointment only, please ask at Reception.
